At the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates (NASUCA) annual meeting on November 13, 2022, Andrew Slater was voted as the Vice President of NASUCA.
This is the first time Delaware’s Public Advocate has held the position of Vice President and the highest position reached.
“NASUCA is a tremendous organization and I’m honored to be voted as Vice President among my peer consumer advocates. We have a wide array of interests and viewpoints and I look forward to representing us,” said Public Advocate Andrew Slater.
Prior to becoming NASUCA’s Vice President, Drew served on the Executive Committee for the past three years.
NASUCA is a voluntary association of 60 consumer advocate offices in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Barbados, with Associate and Affiliate members that also represent utility consumer interests. NASUCA’s members are designated by the laws of their respective jurisdictions to represent the interests of utility consumers before state and federal regulators and in the courts.
